Summary
Hong Heejoo, a nonspeaking sign language interpreter suffering from depression, has been locked in an unbelievably loveless arranged marriage for three years. Her bleak existence takes another atrocious aspect when she is kidnapped. Desperate to find shelter, she calls her estranged husband. He responds with chilling indifference:
"Call me when there's a body," he dismissively retorts, ending the line.
Anger and betrayal motivate Heejoo to turn out to be the mastermind of herself. She starts sending anonymous threatening letters to her husband in the hope of surprising him. However, fate twists another way; her target happens to be the Blue House spokesperson, as noted for his sharp wit and sarcasm.
When the danger increased and the tension rose, Heejoo began to question whether that severe man was her husband or if she was in love with him, for some reason, the perilous game thrilled her.
